Online via folken.no or in Akvariet, our bar on the ground floor. Our ticketing partner is Linticket. Tickets bought online are sent by email; check your spam folder if they don’t arrive. You can also find your tickets on Linticket.

Students at universities and university colleges, police academy (all 7 movies), military academies, upper secondary schools and apprentices get a discount. Foreign student cards are accepted.

Tickets are only refunded if an event is cancelled, moved to another date or in case of another mistake on Folken’s part. The ticket fee is not refunded. Tickets bought by mistake are not refunded.

If an event is cancelled, you must request a refund no later than the original date of the event, unless stated otherwise. If an event is postponed and later cancelled, tickets are refunded no later than two weeks after the cancellation is announced.

Yes, if someone resells theirs through Linticket’s official resale. Tickets bought there are guaranteed valid and sold at the original price (plus reasonable ticket fees).

We recommend buying only through Linticket. Tickets from others may be invalid, and you may be turned away at the door. It is illegal in Norway to resell tickets at a price higher than the original price.

18+ age limit, proof of ID required. Valid ID is a physical national ID card, passport, physical driver’s license, or bank card with photo. Digital ID (digital driver’s license or Bank-ID) or a photo of an ID is not valid identification.

The guardian scheme does not apply to every event. If the event says «18 år eller med verge» next to the age limit, you can come with a guardian.

The guardian must be over 25, sober and a parent or legal guardian, and can be responsible for no more than two minors. Hand in the completed guardian form together with your ticket.

No. Your carer doesn’t need a ticket and does not need to book anything. Buy a regular ticket for yourself, and your carer is granted access for free. Show your companion card (ledsagerbevis) at the door.

The entrance for wheelchair users is through the backyard, where you’ll also find the lift. Volunteers and staff are happy to help. Get in touch on arrival.

Unfortunately, Grottene is not yet accessible for wheelchairs.

Times are on your ticket and in the programme. Akvariet is open Monday to Saturday from 18:00.

Yes. Many of our volunteers are international students, and our staff is happy to help.

Students, student organisations and study associations can use our rooms for free for student activities, and we help with the practical side.

Folken has free wifi and student prices in the bar. Bring your student card.
