On folken.no or in Akvariet, our bar on the ground floor. Our ticketing partner is Linticket. Tickets bought online are sent by email; check your spam folder if they don’t arrive. You can also find your tickets at Linticket.

Students at universities and university colleges, Politihøgskolen, military academies, upper secondary schools and apprentices get a discount. Foreign student cards are accepted.

Bring your student card or proof of enrolment.

Gift cards for tickets on folken.no are sold by Linticket.

Tickets are only refunded if an event is cancelled, moved to another date or in case of another mistake on Folken’s part. The ticket fee is not refunded. Tickets bought by mistake are not refunded.

If an event is cancelled, you must request a refund no later than the original date, unless stated otherwise. If an event is postponed and later cancelled, tickets are refunded no later than two weeks after the cancellation is announced.

Yes, if someone resells theirs through Linticket’s official resale. Tickets bought there are guaranteed valid and sold at the original price.

We recommend buying only through Linticket. Tickets from others may be invalid, and you may be turned away at the door. It is also illegal in Norway to resell tickets above the original price.

The age limit is 18 unless stated otherwise for the event. Bring valid ID: passport, national ID card or driving licence. Digital ID on your phone is not accepted at Folken yet.

The guardian scheme does not apply to every event. If the event says «18 år eller med verge» next to the age limit, you can come with a guardian.

The guardian must be over 25, sober and a parent or legal guardian, and can be responsible for no more than two minors. Hand in the completed guardian form together with your ticket.

No. Your companion doesn’t need a ticket and shouldn’t book anything. Buy a regular ticket for yourself, and your companion comes in free with you. Show your companion certificate (ledsagerbevis) at the door.

The entrance for wheelchair users is through the backyard, where you’ll also find the lift. Volunteers and staff are happy to help. Let us know when you arrive.

Times are on your ticket and in the programme. Akvariet is open Monday to Saturday from 18:00.

Yes. Many of our volunteers are international students, and our staff are happy to help.

Ask the bartender during opening hours, or email gjenglemt@folken.no.

Students, student organisations and study associations can use our rooms for free for student activities, and we help with the practical side.

Akvariet has free wifi and student prices in the bar. Bring your student card.

Checking tickets, working the bar, collecting glasses and making our guests feel welcome. A great place to start. Later you can become an artist host or house host.

The technical side of our events. No experience needed; you get courses and hands-on experience. Many professional technicians started here.

The photo group documents our nights, and the quiz masters run the Tuesday quiz. You can join more than one group.
