September is the month of independence celebrations across Latin America, and this year we’re bringing Chilean and Mexican traditions together for one unforgettable night!
Urban Hands, Chilensk Forening i Stavanger, and Folken invite you to an evening full of music, dancing, delicious food, and Latin American culture.
Live concert with ChiPeCo, latin party with DJ, traditional Mexican dance performance, authentic Chilean & Mexican food in a warm and festive atmosphere where everyone is welcome!

This celebration also marks the official launch of our autumn cultural season and the beginning of preparations for Latin American Week and the Day of the Dead Festival, taking place during the last week of October.
The festivities culminate on October 31, when our biggest event of the year—the Day of the Dead Street Market and Concert—takes over Folken Storsalen.
